big day

Well, the little man survived his first "mock" day of preschool. It was quite adorable to watch his class on thier pretend day of school today. They decorated a star with their name on it, participated in circle time, played in the playroom (called the "Imaginarium"), had a snack, and played outside.....all in just 45 minutes! Whew! Jack really likes his teachers and had a great time today. I think he'll get the hang of the preschool routine rather quickly. I am excited to take him tomorrow on his first official day!
Some photos from his day today....

Macy wearing some killer sunglasses...

Macy has recently ventured into new parts of the kitchen that she had not really discovered until now. She now enjoys opening the drawer under the stove and taking the pots and lids out AND she has found the Tupperware cabinet. Usually it's locked up, but I really don't mind her throwing everything out of it...every once in a while, anyway!

Matt and Jack went to Sonic to get some lovely drinks this afternoon (on Mondays, all of thier huge sized drinks are just $.99, so we take advantage of that!), and Matt decided they "needed" to go to WalMart to find some fun things....and ended up getting Jack a mini-sledge hammer. Perfect for smashing cans in the recycling bin! Of course he was all about that.
